A website in Spain can cost a few hundred euros for a very simple template project or many thousands for a customised business platform. For an SME corporate site, the existing N1 pricing guide uses an indicative range of €1,500–€5,000. The scope, content, integrations and ongoing support determine the final quote.
If you need a quick answer, start with the table below. These are reference ranges for different project scopes, not fixed N1 quotes. Ask each provider to specify what is included, what is charged separately and whether VAT is included.
Website price ranges in Spain
| Project type | Indicative project budget | Typical scope |
|---|---|---|
| Basic template site | €300–€900 | A simple presence using a prepared template and limited custom work |
| Professional landing page | €500–€1,800 | One page with a defined goal, such as an enquiry or booking |
| Basic corporate site | €900–€2,000 | A small company site with core information and a contact route |
| Professional SME corporate site | €1,500–€5,000 | Several pages, tailored design, content structure, foundational SEO and analytics |
| Strategic site with copywriting and advanced SEO work | €2,500–€8,000 | More research, service pages and editorial work |
| Starter online store | €2,000–€7,000 | Catalogue, checkout, payments and basic shipping setup |
| Advanced online store | €4,000–€12,000+ | More products, filters, integrations and advanced store features |
| Site with CRM or business automation | €4,000–€15,000+ | Website plus integrations and workflow design |
| Custom portal or web application | €8,000–€25,000+ | Bespoke functionality, private areas or complex data and permissions |
The ranges reflect the scope examples already published by N1. They are illustrative and can overlap: two projects with the same number of pages may differ substantially in design, content, integrations and responsibility for maintenance. Amounts above exclude VAT.
What makes one website cost more than another?
Number and purpose of pages
A five-page brochure site is different from a site with separate service pages, articles, case studies and landing pages for several audiences. Each page needs a clear purpose and content suited to that audience.
Design and content
Adapting an existing template generally takes less time than designing a visual system for a particular brand. Writing clear service copy, preparing photographs and reviewing translations add work that may not be included in the development quote.
Features and integrations
Booking, ecommerce, client accounts, multilingual content, CRM connections and automated follow-up require setup and testing. Ask whether software subscriptions and third-party transaction fees are included.
SEO and measurement
Every professional website should have a sound technical foundation: clear navigation, accessible content, mobile usability, indexable pages and descriptive titles. Research for competitive search terms, substantial content production and continuous optimisation are separate scopes that should be described in the proposal.
Support after launch
Hosting, backups, updates, content changes and technical support continue after the initial build. Compare the total cost over a year, not only the launch fee.
Example budgets for common business needs
These examples help define scope; they are not quotes for a specific project.
| Situation | Indicative budget | Questions to clarify |
|---|---|---|
| Local service company with a small corporate site | €1,800–€2,500 | Who writes the copy and provides the images? |
| B2B consultancy with several service pages and a CRM connection | €3,500–€5,500 | Which pages, CRM fields and follow-up steps are included? |
| Company site with an AI assistant and business integrations | €5,500–€9,500 | Which answers, data sources, approvals and maintenance are covered? |
| Multi-category ecommerce project | €4,500–€8,500 | How are products, payments, shipping and ongoing catalogue changes handled? |
Freelance designer, agency or managed website?
A freelance designer may be a good fit for a well-defined site when you can supply the content and handle some coordination. An agency can cover more disciplines, such as copywriting, design, development and ongoing optimisation, but the exact team and scope vary.
A managed website spreads some work across a setup fee and monthly service. N1 also offers a managed web design service for SMEs advertised from €59/month plus VAT, with activation from €249 plus VAT for the entry plan. That is a different pricing model from paying the full build fee upfront. Compare its included pages, support and ownership terms with your needs before choosing.
What ongoing costs should you budget for?
Separate the build price from recurring costs. Depending on the arrangement, you may need to pay for a domain, hosting, software licences, technical maintenance, content updates and ongoing SEO or advertising. Ask who owns each account, who renews it and what happens if you change provider.
For a proposal, request a line-by-line breakdown of the initial build and recurring charges. A low starting price can become more expensive if essential work is outside scope; a higher starting price may include services you do not need.
How to compare two website quotes
Ask each provider to answer the same questions:
- How many pages and templates are included?
- Who writes, translates and approves the content?
- Is design custom, based on a template or a combination?
- Which SEO and analytics setup is included at launch?
- What happens if you need a CRM, booking tool or ecommerce later?
- Who owns the domain, content, design assets and website files?
- What maintenance, backups and support are included?
- What is the final cost including VAT and recurring fees?
